About Wisconsin edge

WISCONSIN edge synchronized skating teams are a vital part of the the Wisconsin Figure Skating Club. Comprised of student athletes and their parents, Wisconsin Edge educates and trains skaters in the sport of synchronized skating and enables them to successfully compete in local, state, and national competitions.

Through active participation, skaters learn:

  • self-discipline
  • responsibility
  • persistence
  • goal setting
  • sportsmanship
  • work ethic

Skills learned increase self-esteem which positively impacts all other aspects of the skater's life.

Wisconsin edge had five teams in the 2006-07 season:

  • Open Adult (interested Adults should contact Craig Bodoh)
  • Youth Teams (Interested Youth should contact Monica Misey)
    • Intermediate - Our team that can qualify for National competitions
    • Pre-juvenile - Competitive Travel Team
    • Open Junvenile - Competitive Travel Team
    • House - our introductory team - Travels to 1 or 2 competitions annually

Our house team is designed to introduce skaters and their families to the sport before joining a competive travel team.
