Although there are quite a few pieces of evidence that propose that the oil can give relief to those with anxiety, the research on it is still at its beginning stages.
First of all, what is CBD oil?

There was a small study done in 2010 that concluded that cannabidiol oil could reduce symptoms of social anxiety disorder. The participants reported to be feeling better and have differed in their response to anxiety. There was a change in the participant’s blood flow when it comes to the brain’s region, which is linked to anxiety feelings. A study in 2011 showed the same results, although this time, they looked into cannabidiol specifically and its relation to public speaking anxiety.
Different forms of anxiety, such as social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder, can be managed using CBD. However, research on CBD oil for anxiety is still limited.
